5.   Other AMS Commands

5.1.     Export

This command is used for transporting VSAM datasets and AIXs across systems.

5.2.     Import

This command is used to download VSAM datasets or AIX’s which were created with the EXPORT command.

5.3.     Define GDG

This command is used to define Generation group datasets.  GDGs are used mainly for storing cyclic data.  This command is not frequently used.
